In spite of the setback caused by the Covid 19 effects, along with an uncontrolled veld fire which damaged their waste storing space, the Cooperative pressed on relentlessly and continued to grow their business at a steady pace throughout the year. They also managed to continue growing vegetables in their garden, thanks to the ongoing mentorship from Lorraine Mabeba. We express our gratitude to PETCO and Safripol for sponsoring 50 bulk bags to the cooperative, which assisted in their operations after the all their bags were destroyed in the fire.
