Only in recent times has the secret nature of the relationship between elephants and bees been discovered. It has been pulled into the exploring spotlight of science.
ERP has monitored several different elephants and elephant situations to date. Apart from the standard monitoring of elephants’ behaviour and movements, there have been some special cases along the way.
In an ideal world, elephants would not need collars. They would just be roaming freely without human intervention. But that is becoming increasingly difficult in our world today. Collars can help protect elephants.
This all women collective are members of the Gazini community in Northern Umhlabuyalingana near the Mozambique Border.
At Ndumo, over 400 orphans do not have access to welfare grants and are totally dependent on donations for access to food.
Through working with informal waste recyclers, one of our community related interventions looks at setting up communally run waste buyback centres.
In view of the hunger and deprivation currently experienced in deep rural areas due to the Covid 19 lockdown in South Africa...
